2025 VP DAY EVENT
CRESSY AERODROME
16th of August 2025
Events like this take a large amount of time and effort to plan, organize and make happen.
Our little team of volunteers, here at the Cressy Aerodrome, have certainly put in to make sure everyone had a great time.

Awards
“Millie” the Tiger Moth, located at the old Cressy Aerodrome RAAF base, has been creating some fantastic memories for many people. With wonderful joy flights over the local area and a huge flight from Cressy to Hobart, Canberra and back. These things have raised the profile of this incredible aircraft.
2022 saw “Millie” and the Cressy Aerodrome team attend the Serpentine Airshow, held up near Bendigo, and came home with a second place in the Tiger Moth race.
Then in February 2023, we were invited to the Australian International Airshow at Avalon Airport and received the award for the “Best presented Vintage Aircraft pre 1945”.
March 2025 saw the Cressy Aerodrome crew attend the Australian International Airshow at Avalon, and we again picked up another award. This time it was for the “Best Visual Display.
We at the Cressy Aerodrome are very proud to have “Millie” at our Aerodrome, and the team who help to keep her flying.

WARRNAMBOOL AERO CLUB WINGS AND WHEELS
18TH OF MAY 2025
It was a big day last Sunday at the Warrnambool Aero club “Wings and Wheels” event.
The Cressy flight crew took to the air in “Millie” the Tiger Moth, and flew to Warrnambool for this event, and ground support took the more adventurous journey by road.
The weather was somewhat cool and a bit damp, but this didn’t scare off the many people who made their way out to the Warrnambool airport.
Some fantastic looking cars from the Kruzin Classics Car Club and a good number of Aircraft were in attendance.( Check out the Warrnambool Aero Club page)
This also included a Boeing Stearman 1945 biplane, which really added to the day.
With a few fights conducted, and a great crowd in attendance, we are looking at making a return visit in the future.a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.
